Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport (IATA: MSP, ICAO: KMSP), also known as Minneapolis Airport, or Minneapolis St Paul Airport is the busiest and largest airport in the upper Midwest region of United States. The airport is located 10 miles (16 km) south of downtown Minneapolis, and 10 miles southwest of Saint Paul downtown.

Minneapolis airport (MSP) has two terminals: Terminal 1 - Lindbergh and Terminal 2 - Humphrey.

 

Terminal 1 - Lindbergh

Has 7 Concourses: A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

- Concourse A: gates A1 to A14.

- Concourse B: gates B1 to B16.

- Concourse C: gates C1 to C27.

- Concourse D: gates D1 to D6.

- Concourse E: gates E1 to E16.

- Concourse F: gates F1 to F16.

- Concourse G: gates G1 to G22.

 

Delta Airlines has two Sky Clubs (Concourse C and between F-G). The terminal connects with the ramps Red, Gold, Blue and Red.

 

Terminal 2 - Humphrey

Has one Concourse H with 10 gates: from H1 to H10.

There are two Skyways that connect with the Orange and Purple Parking.

The Orange Parking is next to Rail Trail Transit Station. Trains go to Bloomington and Mall of America or, on the other side, to Minneapolis.

Transport options MSP

- Bus: Metro Transit Route 54 is the city bus service, only available at Terminal 1. Passengers that travels from Terminal 2 should take the rail service to reach T1. Greyhound Bus Service and Charter Buses: Jefferson Lines is the company that provides bus service that runs to and from Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota and Iowa as well (From Terminal 1). Charter Bus is available as well from Terminal 1.

 

- Rail: Service is provided from T1 and T2 and run between Downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America. Trains depart every 10 min. during peak hours and during the rest of hours run every 15 minutes approx. Travel time: 12- 25 minutes (depending on your destination).

 

- Taxi: Taxis wait outside each terminal from Tram Level (Terminal 1) and from Ground Level (Terminal 2).
