Bus

Metro Transit is the company that operates at MSP airport. Route 54 is the city bus service.

The service is only available at Terminal 1, the stop is located in the Level 1 of the Red and Blue parking ramps.

 

For passengers that arrive at T2 should go to Terminal 1. Rail service is for free for passengers that are travelling between terminals.

Greyhound Bus Service and Charter Buses

Jefferson Lines is the company that provides service at Minneapolis airport.

Buses run to/from Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and Iowa as well.

To pick up the bus passengers may go to Terminal 1, in the Transit Center.

 

To pick up a charter bus passengers may go to Terminal 1 Transit Center as well.

 

Rail - Train

Trains provide service at both terminals T1 and T2 and run to 17 different destinations. Between the stops there are Downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America.

 

To reach the train:

- From Terminal 1: It is located the Red and Blue parking ramps, just below the Transit Center.

- From Terminal 2: It is located north side of the Parking ramp with color Orange.

 

Trains depart every 10 min. during peak hours and during the rest of hours run every 15 minutes approximately. Travel time is between 12 and 25 minutes depending on your destination.

 

Rates:

- Adults during rush hours: from Monday to Friday. Hours: from 6 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 6.30 p.m. - $2.25

- Adults: non-rushing hours - $1.75 at other times.

-Kids from 0 to 5 years (maximum 3 children with one paid fare) - Free

 

Reduced fares are available for seniors, kids and persons with disabilities.

 

Transportation between terminals

LRT connects the terminals of Minneapolis airport for free.

For passengers with special needs there is a shuttle bus service (between the terminal buildings) available.

 

Taxi

Taxis wait outside each terminal.

- Terminal 1: passengers can reach the taxi rank through the Tram Level (Level T).

- Terminal 2: passengers may go to the Ground Transportation Center (Ground Level, Violet Parking ramp).

 

Fares:

- From the airport to Downtown Minneapolis (and vice versa) - from $40 to $49 approximately.

- From the airport to St. Paul and vice versa) - from $30 to $39 approximately.

 

When passengers pick up the taxi, at the meter taxi appears (summed quantities):

- Flag drop off - $2.50

- Airport access fee - $4.30
