MSP Terminal 1 - Lindbergh

Terminal 1 at Minneapolis Airport is home of Concourses A to G.


Nowadays, upgrading works are being in done in Lindbergh terminal regarding the north security checkpoint, which will replace manual screening lanes to automated ones.


Delta Airlines operates from all Concourses with the exception of Concourse E.


The terminal connects with the following ramps: Red, Gold, Blue and Red.



Inter-terminal transportation

Both terminals are separated and accessible from independent roadways.

Light Rail Transit (LRT) connects both terminals of Minneapolis Airport. Service provided for free.



- Terminal 1: Below the Transit Center, between blue and red ramps. From the Tram Level you can take it straight to the Transit Center.

- Terminal 2: On the north side of the Orange Ramp. Get there by taking the elevator or escalator from Level 1.


Service hours: 24/7, every 10 minutes on peak times and 15 minutes off peak hours.


On the other hand, for physically challenged passengers, the Special Needs Shuttle can ease their transit between terminals.


Service hours: Daily, 06:00 am to 10:00 pm, every 20 minutes.

- Terminal 1: Ground Transport Center from Level T.

- Terminal 2: Ground level of the Purple Ramp.

  • Level T: This is the Ground Transport Center. It is split into the North and South, both served by the tram:
  • North: Ground transportation and parking. Other services: Information counter, ATMs. Access to the Gold Ramps parking. From this level is possible to access to the shuttle companies, vans and to Delta check-in.
  • South: Find here the Light Rail Transit Station. Westward gets to Terminal 2, Bloomington and Mall of America, Eastward serves Minneapolis. Access to the Transit Center (metro, buses and rental cars). Services: ATMs.


Get to the short term parking and to the Pink Ramp.


  • First level: This is the Arrivals level. Services: Information counters, ATMs, baggage carousels. Find International Arrivals at door 6, west end.


  • Second level: This is the Departures and check-in level. Services: Information counter, currency exchange, ATMs, lost and found. The Mall and the Concourses are equipped with food, drink and retail concessions.
  • From this level, passengers can access to G gates and to the Mall, which also grants access to F, E and D gates. On the other hand, access to C gates is done by the Concourse Tram. To the parking and ground transportation centre, there is a skyway.

  • Third level: This is purely a service and amenities level.

Get here by the elevator close to F gates.

Services: Conference Center, Quiet area and business and services center.




Terminal 1 at MSP Airport has 7 Concourses: A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

To Humphrey Terminal:

- Concourses A to E

- Concourses G and F



Connection between Concourses

- Concourses C and A: By tram

- Concourse B is connected to Concourses C and A by a short tunnel

- The Concourse Connector Bridge connects Concourses G and C.

The Crosswalk Connector joints Gates G18 and C12.


Bear in mind that all concourses can be reached within a walk



Concourse gates

- Concourse A: It has gates from A1 to A14.

- Concourse B: It has gates from B1 to B16.

- Concourse C: It has gates from C1 to C27. Find across C13 a nursing station.

- Concourse D: It has gates from D1 to D6.

- Concourse E: It has gates from E1 to E16. Is the only concourse which is not served by Delta.

- Concourse F: It has gates from F1 to F16. There’s a nursing station close to gate F2.

- Concourse G: It has gates from G1 to G22.

Lindbergh Terminal has at their passengers’ disposal a couple of lounges:


  • Delta Sky Club: Location: Airside, between Concourse F and G.
  • Delta Sky Club: Location: Airside, north end of the Airport Mall on Mezzanine Level.
  • United Club: Location: Airside, Concourse E, Gates E6 / E8.
  • Escape Lounge: Location: Airside, north end of the Mezzanine Level.
  • PGA MSP Lounge: Location: Airside.
